A Better Pipe Smoking Community

An Eliot Nachtwalter bent Dublin filled with GH Brown Flake to start my day. Been up since 2:45 and made a couple of gold bracelets for orders and a dozen rings. Brazilian Poco Fundo on the side (with soy milk) in the 3-blind-mice mug.

I'll probably spend the day switching between Haddo's Delight, Abingdon and Navy Flake.

There is one tobacco though that I have found to be an absolute and honest favorite. Samuel Gawith's Golden Flake has me hooked - line and sinker! (smoking a bowl right now actually) I'm rationing it the best I can, as I probably two bowls left. I'm restocking on this baby ASAP. As hard as it it, I'm limiting myself to smoking only a bowl a day.

Today I'll be tackling a writing project that I admit, I have been putting off for almost a week. It is not going to be a task that I'll enjoy, but it needs to be done. I expect to smoke a couple more bowls then normal this day in response.

The weather here is fine, being 69 F as noon rolls around.

I got my MAT test results back today and I scored high enough to be admitted in the grad school I want to go to. The only thing I smoked while studying for this test was Barbary Coast. As soon as lunch is over I'm going to have a celebratory bowl of Barbary Coast in one of my Stanwell straight billiards.

Make the most of it.

Rather busy day today. Worked till mid afternoon then spent the remainder of it on the phone with the cable copmpany explaining why it would be in their best interest to get my internet hooked up asap. Long story short I walked away with a credit that will keep me from paying an internet bill for 2 months.

Not sure what to smoke this evening, though another bowl of Epiphany like last night sounds good. It is one of my favorite English blends, and I can understand why the original was a favorite of Einsteins.

Call my cable company and have them give me free internet for the next two months please ;)

Is this company AT&T by any chance? I have an almost identical story with them.

I enjoyed a bowl of latakia (English Oriental) in a no name something-or-other I got at the local B&M. Darned if that pipe isn't one of my best smokers. My wife's comment when I came inside:

Woo, you're fragrant.

Fragrant is better than; "You stink."

No, Time Warner is our cable provider around here. I have found when you really play up the fact that you are the customer and can keep your money in your pocket during these tough times, they tend to kiss your ass.
