A Better Pipe Smoking Community

Yeah, we have some. They have to be here, so let's just get it over with. The rules are here to ensure that every MPC member knows what to expect in order to have a nice stay on MPC.

#1 - Mind your tongue. Swearing, while not prohibited, should be used sparingly. Darn and dang sound a lot more fun anyway.

#2 - Keep it clean. No porn, no illegal material, no piracy (including violating copyrights), no obscenities of any kind. It's a public forum, so you never know who's watching. Besides, it's a pipe forum, not cable television.

#3 - Smile. Always be nice to each other. If you don't happen to agree with someone, use the "ignore user" function rather than start a trash talk contest. If things get out of hand, be sure to notify the admin.

#4 - No politics. Unless there is a tobacco related issue in the political arena, all political discussions are prohibited and will be deleted without warning.

#5 - No religion. While MPC has the utmust respect for all religions, discussions about them are simply bad karma, and will be deleted without warning.

#6 - No spam. Keep spam out of MPC. It belongs in a can on the shelf at Wally World. Advertise responsibly in the "Commercial Announcements" forum. Pipe and tobacco related advertisements only. Other products need admin approval.

#7 - Drugs are bad. Any discussions about illegal substances are prohibited and will be deleted without warning.

At any given point in time, the My Pipes Community team can and will edit, move and delete, forum threads and blog posts as well as delete or block members as needed to ensure a stable environment. MPC members will be advised whenever deletion or blocking has been necessary.

Failure to follow the rules stated above can and will result in a warning. Repeat offenders will be deleted from MPC.

This set of rules is subject to change. All changes will be announced.
