The bottle of J&B Whiskey that usually accompanies my pipe, its gone. But the memories, those will get me through it.
Thankfully one of Justerini's brothers will find my home soon, but I think it takes a lot from the Brooks side of things.
Mostly there are very few topics coming up each day, and I thought we needed something fun to write about besides our usual daily smokes.
What do you enjoy with your pipe?
Happy smoking
Morning usually coffee sometimes tea
Day water and tea
Evening tea sometimes ales, scotch, bourbon and this time of the year cognac or just water.
My favorite scotch's are Lagavulin and Ardbeg. My favorite Bourbon is Knob Creek and my favorite Cognac is Hennessey XO of the ones I am willing to pay for.
Morning: Coffee, tobacco varies, usually OJK or Miss. Mud.
Afternoon: Might still be coffee, or Iced Tea, tobacco depends on the mood I'm in.
Evening/Night: Iced Tea or an Ale of some sort. Tobacco again varies depending on mood, but usually OJK or an English.
Like many of you, my beverage of choice depends on the time of day/mood/availability. Today's beverage line up was coffee through the morning and afternoon, and this evening's after dinner drinks were scotch (Glenlivet) and port (Taylor Fladgate). Not at the same time of course!
Morning: coffee...and lots of it
lunch/day: water,tea,coffee
evening: water, pepto bismol, nyquil....:)
used to be:
Morning: beer or ale
afternoon: beer or ale
evening: beer or ale and scotch
now:
morning: coffee
afternoon: diet coke
evening: herbal tea
REd wine or water
1. Water with Latakia Blends
2. Grape Vodka on the rocks with Captain Bob's Blend
3. Admiral Nelson's Spiced Rum on the rocks with Pot O' Gold
A good rinse with water between smokes. Obviously, I drink a hell of a lot of water!
Meyers dark rum or a burbon go wonderfully with latakias. Water or tea with VAs. Sometimes a nice dark beer. Coffee in the morning.
... however, I just discovered something called "cream sherry" which costs about 1/4 the price of port and tastes almost the same! Perfect with some of my sweet, mellow aromatics.
Good Indian Assam tea during the day, good Kentucky Bourbon & water after work.
One of the local breweries produces something called Founders Dirty Bastard that goes well with just about everything. If all else fails, I bring in the heavy guns and open a bottle of the Glenlivet.
Sounds like something from "Housewives of Speonk".
Morning: Coffee, (french roast and strong) and tobacco varies 'cause coffee can go with just about anything.
Work at nights: Tea only with whatever four I'm packin' in the courier bag.
Night at home: Scotch or Jack usually with something fairly heavy. English or VaPer with Scotch, Jack is open.
Football: Foster's oilcans w/ light aro's or Bass ale with heavier.
Bubbly is always FMOTT.
Cognac usually gets English or Dark Star.
We don't have soda's unless she buys some diet crap, and I won't have any unless its rootbeer floats-no tobac.
Wine with friends varies of course, waitaminute! My friends don't drink WINE!
Disregard please
